Supporting health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
For thousands of years the Ngangkari – the traditional Aboriginal healers in Central Australia – have passed on their skills and knowledge to young children. Malpa follow this approach by partnering with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association to educate and empower young children to be health leaders in their communities. Through Malpa’s efforts, over 2,000 young doctors are now advocates of health literacy, nutrition, hygiene, Social and emotional well-bring and more.
This year Malpa has set their goal of training over 700 young doctors across Australia, but they need your support to achieve this. To find out more and to donate, visit https://www.malpa.org.au/contact (opens in a new window or tab)
